Artwork Specifications
Photo Gift Guidelines:
Please outline fonts or include fonts when submitting artwork
Our files are printed in CMYK color profile, please convert your file before submitting artwork or notify that your file is RGB so we can convert it for you. RGB files that are not converted CMYK can cause color shifts, unless you are printing in greyscale.
White Ink Printing:
When you are using white in your file and want white ink, please specify white areas in Photo Shop by creating a white spot layer named: Spot1. If you need assistance with this please contact us.
If you are unsure if your file format is acceptable, please give us a call and we will assist you in getting us the best file necessary for your printing and digital diecutting needs.
PRINTING BLEEDS
Include a bleed of .250 in your design – do not include text or important items in the bleed area unless otherwise specified by our staff
Digital Diecutting/CNC Routing, Signage, & Vinyl Decal File Formats Accepted:
Digital Diecutting without dielines will require folds and line types to be clearly marked in artwork. Please specify by labeling each cut , crease (fold lines), cut crease, perforation, or any other lines type with printer marks or color coded lines in a separate layer labeled, Dielines.
All files for contour cutting, routing and carving need to be vectors.
All Print to Cut files require a 1" border 4 sides for registration sensor marks to be added.
A template can be sent to you upon order.
Raster images are not acceptable for routing, cutting and carving and will require additional CAD design charges to create vector outlines.
Colored Lines for Dielines-Industry Standards:
- A photo is needed for each item ordered.
- Send image(s) at a minimum of 300 dpi resolution
- For up to a 4x6" print, image size should be 768 x 512 pixels minimum
- For a 5x7" print, image size should be 1024 x 768 pixels minimum
- For an 8x10" print, image size should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum
